How to use baking soda for beauty?

It is possible to take care of oneself very easily thanks to baking soda. Its use contributes to the well-being of the hair, the skin, the face but also the feet. Here are 7 beauty secrets of our grandmothers for your well-being.

An express facial scrub
To make a scrub in seconds, mix 2 tbsp. olive oil with 1 tbsp. tablespoons of baking soda. Apply the paste obtained by circular massage on the face and neck. In this way, the dead cells will be gummed naturally. After this operation, rinse your face gently and apply your usual moisturizer.

A bath
Add 200 g of baking soda food or cosmetics in the water of your bath to find a soft skin.

A shampoo
Baking soda helps fight against dandruff but also to clean hair from gel or lacquer residues. Add 1 tsp. coffee baking soda food at the usual dose of shampoo. Apply and gently massage your hair, then rinse.

Foot care
To fight against perspiration and offer a moment of relaxation to your often abused feet, soak them in a basin containing 3 tablespoons of baking soda mixed in 1 liter of hot water.

A natural deodorant
You can replace your deodorant with baking soda. To do this, apply directly bicarbonate (food or cosmetic) under the armpits. For a good distribution, rub gently all over the surface. Add a few drops of water if necessary.

Fresh breath
Making a mouthwash with baking soda helps keep your breath fresh. For the preparation, mix 1 tsp. coffee bicarbonate food in a glass of warm water. Make a mouthwash for 4 minutes after brushing. This repeated action several times a week will help to find a pleasant breath.

Treat hair brushes
For a healthy and invigorating brushing of your hair, immerse your hairbrushes overnight in 1 liter of warm water to which you add 5 tablespoons of baking soda. After bathing, rinse the brushes thoroughly and wipe with a towel. It’s a great way to clean your hairbrush.
