Refreshing and cooling, this cucumber smoothie is just the thing to drink on a hot summer afternoon. The probiotic element present in this fights against any impending allergies. Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups peeled cucumber 
  • Fresh lemon juice 
  • 1 cup plain non-fat yoghurt 
  • Pinch of pepper 
  • Crushed ice 
  • 2 lemon wedges 


 Add all the ingredients to a blender apart from the already crushed ice and lemon wedges and combine until smooth. First put the crushed ice and then pour the smoothie into it. In case you don’t have crushed ice, then add ice cubes to the blender while making the smoothie. Serve with a lemon wedge thrust into the rim.
