Instructions:

Begin by using a double boiler or your microwave and a microwave safe bowl, to melt your cocoa butter.
You aren’t looking to boil the cocoa butter though so be sure not to allow it to get too hot!
Once melted, add your melted cocoa butter to a mixing bowl and stir in your jojoba oil and coconut oil using a spatula or spoon.

You will notice that the heat of your cocoa butter melts your coconut oil, this is just what needs to happen so don’t worry!
Once your ingredients are all well mixed, set the bowl of ingredients aside and leave them overnight to allow them to set.
The following morning use a food mixer to chop up and whip your set ingredients.

You can accomplish this by whipping it on your mixer’s high setting.
Use a silicone spatula to scrape the sides of the mixer as you mix.
Now you want to add in your essential oils if you are using them.

Mix once again after adding the oils to allow them to distribute throughout your ingredients.
Now scoop your body butter in to your glass container and put the lid on!

To use, simply scoop out the body butter with your fingertips and apply as you would with any other body butter!
As with most products containing coconut oil, you want to keep this one away from heat to avoid melting.
