homemade rosemary essential oil recipe


Rosemary usually has a strong and woody aroma. This simple recipe for oil will soothe the affected patch of skin or even be used in the food! Versatile and with a great aroma, it has the ability to boost mental health and activity, relieve people of respiratory issues and even cool down an allergy alleviation or stimulate growth of your hair!

  • 1 cup fresh rosemary leaves 
  • 8 to 10.oz any oil 


Add the freshly picked rosemary into a jar after washing it thoroughly with water. Once completely dried of the water, add it to a jar full of oil and secure the lid of the jar tight. The idea now is to let it sit on your window side for over a month or even more, even letting you forget about it! After the required time frame, you will notice the oil getting a little colour of the rosemary into it. Thenstrain out the oil into a clean jar using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
