1This is a simple trick to keep the mosquitoes away! – the perfect easy mosquito trap you can DIY using simple household items!  It will be super annoying with those pesky mosquitoes buzzing around when you are enjoying the outdoor grill party or hang out with friends at Summer night, now you can make this emergency mosquito trap to keep them away in minutes.

You’ll need:

  • an empty 2-liter plastic bottle,
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar,
  • 1 cup of warm water,
  • ¼ teaspoon of yeast.
  • Directions:
    • Take the bottle and use a sharp serrated knife and cut the top third of the bottle off. Now take the bottom of the bottle and pour in your brown sugar, warm water, and yeast. This mixture creates an irresistible concoction that attracts mosquitos.
    • Place the top of the bottle with the cap off, upside down back into the bottom.

2. Use essential oils, they are proven mosquito repellents. Carnation, basil, anise, and eucalyptus are the best. Mix them with some base oils and apply on the skin. For mosquitoes not to fly into your apartment, soak a napkin in essential oil and place it on the windowsill.

You can fill your home with a fragrance of essential oils with the help of an evaporator or oil burner. This will help get rid of mosquitoes even in the most spacious halls.
